| Quote: | | It’s the same two-steps-forward-three-steps-back situation that makes reading manga titles like this one and, say, Maison Ikkoku, somewhat frustrating. |
I got tired of Maison Ikkoku when they started introducing redundant characters like Nikkaido. And while I"s is a wannabe- depressing read, MI just keeps getting worse before it gets better. I mean at least Godai's not a baka Shinji, but he needs to take a chill pill. But I guess it's supposed to be a sort of anti-harem manga. As for I"s, well, the characters in that story are just plain pathetic. |

You know, I was going to write something like your review in response to your Merupuri review, but you did it yourself. Nice to see that you can see through escapist fantasy, even when its directed at your gender |

| ...So, now that Viz has published up to volume 9, I'll ask this: Does it get any better, or is it still stuck in its own clichés? I note that it's really well rated and actually manages to be within the top 100 manga on this site, so I'm geussing that it doesn improve, but I'd like to know for sure before I buy. |
