Wasn't sure they'd show this over here or not, since the reason it never got dubbed is because they saw the negative reception the show got from Western fans.

Hopefully it comes to a Canadian theater. I skipped SAO but for this one I'd make the drive to Toronto to see it.

The Blu-rays must have sold well then and its pretty popular streaming wise, especially on CR. So it must have done pretty well over here to get a nationwide theatrical release.

Are you serious? Can you provide references to the reception? I can't believe that there'd be heretics openly questioning Onii-sama's English voice.

I need to get there early to watch it at the Expo. So cool. I missed "Your Name's" showing last year and had to wait a year to watch it (totally with it). I hope to see many followers of THE ONE TRUE GOD TATSUYA STU

Considering 2 lead characters are lovers and siblings, it's appropriate this announcement came a few hours after "The List - 7 Brother-Sister Romances That Went Too Far" was posted.
