I've had this feeling for a while now about this adaptation project but the images on the flyer, the scenes in the featured clip and the side by side comparison of these manga covers all confirm it, for me. I don't think the fierceness is in evidence in anything we've been shown so far for this film, but it and a certain uneasy "edginess" are required to do the character of Asahi justice.
