Wow after such a mediocre Anime expo, VIZ just comes back swinging with the big stuff for SDCC! Super happy they got Vigilantes!

Now only missing a Straighten up! and Shudan announcement!

Shudan I get, but Haikyu? Wait until they catch up before doing anything with it.

Their Twitter confirms that this will be the free chapters section. Cool! Astra Lost in Space got a print release after being in the free section, so this probably has a chance too.

No reason not to add Let's Haikyuu!! if they have done other spin offs and are doing the HeroAca spin off. I want my Haikyuu!! spin off too.

Oh sorry! You were talking about the spin-off. I got confused and thought you were asking for them to add Haikyu to their JUMP. On that then I agree more spin-off are always good.

As for the chances of it happening though? Probably very low. Kimetsu and Vigilantes, if you follow the each issue comments and the podcast, were both HEAVILY requested. So I guess constant fan nagging them brought them over. Haikyu sadly is a late bring over. It's in the free section and VIZ is probably still scared by the old *sports series don't sell* way of thinking. I also don't see anyone even mention it. Also limited resources.

I think Shudan does have more chances(even Straighten Up! probably) since I hear it mentioned quite a few times.

I'm glad Viz is picking up more title from Shonen Jump+ to add to it's free section. The last manga they licensed from Jump+, Fire Punch, ended up just being a print release, but I think that was just because Fire Punch was a bit too gory. So I'm hoping that their free section is successful enough if they're continuing to add new series to it, and hopefully having a spinoff of an incredibly popular series will make more people aware that the free section exists.

There's a lot of interesting-looking stuff being released on Jump+ that I want to read, like Ao no Flag, Tetsuwan Adam and Who Killed the Sage/Dare ga Kenja wo Koroshita ka?, so I'm happy that this signals that there may be some chance for them.
