This could be an interesting idol series that may have the potential. Now if this can be an anime about just the idols themselves and not about idols + some producer/male protagonist, I am in.

I agree but is there something that makes you believe they are going to do that? Or are you just hoping since that seems to be a trend with anime.

I'm very iffy about this. I mean, glad they're getting an anime project and all, but I can't help but feel this is turning towards another BangDream mishap. There doesn't seem to be a lot of promotion around these girls and that seems really bad. I just hope they promote them more because I don't think this amount will work out for them. Gotta wait and see I guess.

I am confused with your question. If you mean that I believe they are NOT going to include a male protagonist, then I hope so. Nothing against harem or self-insert but those stuff have been oversaturated for a decade or so. Also, if you mean that male-MC-less all-girls anime are the trend, then yes I hope so too. It is a trend but only a handful of those have managed to be a success. Girls und Panzer, Love Live, and Kemono Friends are some of those.

Well BanG Dream!'s anime was a disappointment but Bushiroad did a lot of promotions back then and it was not just about the anime. The mobile game is doing great at the moment and the albums are selling. I hope this means that a second season will be better this time. In other words, BD did have a mishap but the series managed to recover and is performing well.

As for this upcoming anime, I can agree with you on that. They should be doing promotions and advertising first, as well as make more MVs and albums like Love Live! did. Overall, I do not think this will have the same mishap BD did, it is even worse. It can end up being a failure like the majority of idol anime.

Oh god! Another one of these idolcrap shows. This one looks like BanG Dream clone, which is in itself an idolm@ster clone. Really makes you ponder about the disposable nature of anime nowadays.

I want to see more harem anime with a male lead who is clumsy. That is, he falls on them during their performances. However, he does pick the 1st girl (a childhood friend) and even has an uninterrupted love scene with her.
