I am a bit sad that this will be the 3rd set of VA's for Hakkai & Gojou but I am beyond stoked that they got Ayres and Matranga back as Goku and Sanzou. They were great in those roles for the first 50 episodes before Geneon took over the show. I do wish they could have gotten Tony Oliver somehow as Gojou (his was the one VA change when Geneon took over that I liked more) but this will do quite nicely.

Three out of five ain't bad (counting Vic returning as Kougaiji).  I think the "newbies" will do fine in their roles. I can already hear Ian as Gojyo.

I'm not as familiar with Ian honestly. Though I suppose I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. I know from talking with him in the past Goku was always one of Greg Ayre's favorite roles. If you bring him one of the 2 original dvd single covers that had Goku on them for a signature he has special things he signs for them and only them. |

Thank god David Matranga is back as Sanzo. Had to stop watching the dub of Saiyuki Reload because I couldn't handle that voice change lol

I am one of those people. When it comes to dubbing anime with girls who can be seen as "tramps" or "skanks", I think Jamie or Alexis Tipton have the right voice for that. |
