I never knew they made the Friendship Is Magic manga too. I saw some artwork of Twilight Sparkle on the wall at AX, but I just thought that, since there were many other licensed characters too, it was just part of whatever they felt like drawing.
I don't think it caught on in the Anglosphere because people are finding the ponies sexy though. I think they just find them very cute, somewhat related to moe in a way. |
