some thigns that make shattered angels interesting are.
A) it's (slightly) jojo inspired, there's stands and somethign very interesting is done once with one of them (saying what would be the biggest spoiler for the series, tho). B) some yuri fanservice, before it became mainstream/slice of life series made it so. C) it's a sequel of sorts of kanazuki no miko, while they are not the mcs anymore, (reincarnations of ) the two main characters of knm are important charcters there (also they tend to appear). generally speaking it's common for that couple to reincarnate and appear in other kaishaku works. d) it's a prequel of steel angel kurumi (or sequel, I am not sure, since that does not has the yuri couple I ahve not watched it) |

I'm glad I can finally check out the GARO anime, but I've heard that it's nowhere near as good as the live action.

The first series is pretty good. The second... not so much, from what I've heard about it (I've only watched the first one). |
