harminia, I think your feeling carries more weight when we find out the story synopsis, a brief character line-up, and a teaser/trailer. Still, it is perhaps best to have some suspicions as original anime are a gamble.

I'm open minded to original anime. I have no gripes about original shows nor will I judge them based on their being original. I'm just suspicious regarding any anime with a name like that.... |

To me, that series name doesn't exactly sound like it will inspire a lot of viewers.

Guessing this will be a CGI show given it's CC2 Sai. Been wondering if this animation branch was ever going to do anything new? Either way it will be interesting to see them with a wholly original project.
No need to be instantly pessimistic, it says A5 is the code name so it's all promotional. Of course, it's wise to also not jump over the moon but no reason to write it off on its promotional campaign. |

Woah, I'm really interested in that.
Now that the Ultimate Ninja Storm series is over, the staff from the games could work on this new anime. I loved how the bossfights, cutscenes and ultimate attacks were animated and choeographed. I also played Asura's Wrath, which has very little gameplay and is pretty much an anime including intro credits, eyecatcher, and a preview of the next episode in every episode you play. Also I remember them animating this little clip, which I loved: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-PudD1UrvU I really hope the new project will be a heavy action title with lots of exciting CG animation. Also with that team it's pretty much guaranteed that Chikayo Fukuda will compose the soundtrack. I really hope the tracks will be as epic as the soundtrack of Asura's Wrath or Storm 3. And regarding the naming: Although being the director and CEO of CC2, Matsuyama-san always appears to be carefree, a bit childish and simply enjoying his life. Also he joined a few foreign marathons wearing a Naruto costume 
So I can see him choosing a project title like this just for the lulz xP |
