It's stopping in December, rounding off the year. There will be much fanfare with the final issue!

It has been a really rewarding experience, but it's really just that time for us to finally move on. Better to go out at the top of our game, than to fall apart later.

Still the article are good. I had not heard of Kamichu a week ago and I ran into three references in one week. Must be sychronicity..... or a Kami. Must see.

All the Best,

Nani?

Animefringe prides itself on putting out a quality magazine each month. It's not a matter of finding devoted anime fans to keep it going, but rather our own desire to go out at the top of our game.

I don't see a problem with that. It's smart of you guys to take the John Elway approach and retire on top than to potentially deteriorate into an on-line version of Newtype USA. You did mention that you will keep the domain open so at least we can still read the back issues if we so choose.

Still, we appreciate what you did for the anime/manga community, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for your finale. Very Happy

You make it sound so easy. In my experience, most people are very enthusiastic about things like this, right until the point when they actually have to do something. Then come the excuses and disappearences.
