For real?! Color me intrigued as all heck, and I really like Sasami's new look (doesn't anyone else think she stayed stuck as a little girl long enough?). If there was a way for us Americans to be able to contribute to the crowdfunding, I'd try helping make this happen in a heartbeat! Wish you the best of luck, AIC! (now I feel like re-watching my Pioneer discs)

Oh, good. Looks like it's a sequel to the TV version. The OVA was pretty terrible.
Not getting my hopes up though. Chances are the TV series they want to do will never materialise.

You really need to rethink your priorities if your biggest complaint about this so far is that Sasami doesn't look young enough.

Thanks but you don't get to tell what other people's priorities should be.
But alas, why would anyone not be made into an adult, as per today's standards, in a few years, there will be no smaller breasts than H cups in anime anyways.

You sure have your finger on the pulse of the anime industry if you think that average boob sizes are getting bigger and bigger.

All of that aside, I'm very conflicted with the design of short haired Sasami. I have 0 issue with advancing her in age, but I worry that if this is the design they go for fans could be instantly turned away. Perhaps they could split the difference and give her a ponytail, but it's just fanboy complaining at this point.

It may be new and different (which does not have to be a bad thing at all, not always), but she still looks very much like Sasami to me! I'm sure once we see her come to life in the pilot video (assuming that it happens) and as long as she acts like (an older version of) herself the change in pace may not matter much.
