Oh, so its a remake of the original. I was tempted but never accually played the first one. I'm probably going to pick this one up though, I've heard a lot of good things about the original and was actually going to get it soon, but now that this ones coming out I might as well get it instead.

First one is the best of the series.

And its about freakin time they release this game. I just hope they kept the awesome intro in.

It's a completely revamped game, from the ground up. Graphics, gameplay, story, fmv scenes.
The new one is nice, though.

From what I've heard, the original might be more "fun" as far as gameplay goes, but the other benefits should out-weigh that... or at least, I hope.

They also went back and remixed the music. Most of it has vastly improved, some fell short of their originals.

The opening music was kept exactly intact but they animated a whole new movie.

And as for release date... I won't hold my breath. I've heard this before. They had posters up in my EB advertising an October 18th release date. Ad campaigns with posters cost money, so I was pretty convinced it'd come out then. Show up on the 18th and nope, pushed back to November 15.

Not giving up hope though<G>

a very reliable sourcesays that it won't be pushed back any more. Nov 15 is definite. Also, the first ep of Wild Arms twilight venom is supposed to come with it as well. Not the best of bonuses, but i guess it's something.[/url]

Yes, but not holding my breath that it'll make the next release schedule. Sony's already announced their releases for every week from now to Jan 3rd, with no AC, and they're about to announce their Jan 10th releases. I have my doubts that it'll be on that one too.

I found out that all the online retailers were using Diamond's tentative date, but Diamond's dates tend to be mostly guesswork.
