I don't believe that the second OVA had been released yet.

And, I truly truly adore Kaleido Star. I cannot be happier than to have more of my favorite series.

Volume 1 of season 2 will be released Jan 17, 2006 Effectively this is actually season 3, since a season in Japan is only 13 episodes.

After all, the ADV's first season of Kaliedo star had two different op/ed one set for episodes 1-13 and the other for 14-26.

Well.. I didn't say season 2. I said the second half, since we got the first half-26 eps already.

AOD lists the first volume of the second half to be released by ADV on 01/17/2006. From what I hear, the first OVA was acquired by ADV to be released with the 2nd season material.

I do wonder about the 2nd OVA. If ANN has a release date for the third OVA, then shouldn't the ANN encyclopedia have more about the second OVA by now?

More Kaleido Star is always a good thing. It's nice to know that this franchise is still very popular in Japan.

The second Kaleido Star OAV (Kaleido Star: Good da yo! Goood!!) was released in the summer of 2005, at least that's what this news report stated back in March. I made my comments about it here, but basically, if you've seen Nurse Witch Komugi, Kaleido Star: Good da yo! Goood!! has a similar feel and look.
