The promo video makes the game look adorable though it doesn't really give much information on what type of game it will be.

If there is a major backlash from what happened with Tatsuki it will be when the new anime season gets announced. The Pavilion game developer doesn't have anything to do with it so while there will be some negative remarks about Kadokawa my guess is that the game will do well.

When it's a choice between protesting Kadokawa and NOT playing a Kemono Friends app, how long do you think conscience will hold out? 
Interesting to see the "Jappari World" Pavilion flashback intro, when the park still had people (and the Friends were mascots?)
Looks like the game will be more about the show's park concepts, not just the objectification-characters of the original game.

I'm positive that any disputes concerning Kadokawa will have little to no effect on the reception towards this new KF mobile title.

It's possible. But with KFs still being a new series, there is a possibility the lack of support could cause Kadokawa to stop future KFs projects and the series falls into obscurity.

It's just so hard to look at KF and not think of all the BS that happened. I don't think it'll affect the game.
