So do we get the review of vol 4 before vol 5 come out? I watched it 3 times in the first week I had it & I'm horribly backed up on my anime(7 box sets, over a dozen next-in-the-series. I do watch my yaoi as it arrives!) My 15 yr old loves the sand bears & he's back & the bear bees (Yuri & Wolfram's kids. Very amusing) are also interesting. There is a lot more humor in Vol 4 as mom's back to haunt poor Raven.
Still vol 3 was fun. I always make it to the last ep of this title with a certain amount of dread because Geneon is so religiously glued to the bi-monthly format & I know I have to wait 2 months for the next installment. Usually by Vol 4 ADV has kicked into a 6-week schedule on more popular titles as they did with Saiyuki & I believe they did with Excel. I love Wolfram-yeah pure stereotype, but well-done. He flips his hair in Vol 4 & all the girls swoon-wow. And we see some rivalry over Yuri. |
