My thoughts exactly. Gundam Wing has some amazing vocal pieces.

Right reading, wrong meaning.

"Ai Senshi" is "Soldiers of Sorrow".

Ai = Love

Senshi = Soldier

No = of (mostly, but it is the possessive particle in Japanese)

Where do you get sorrow out of that?

Ai Senshi = Love Soldier...

aishou = sorrow

Just go here, this is where I got my translation:

Except that isn't the correct kanji for the translation of "ai" that means love. That would be 愛. I am unfamiliar with the kanji used here when used by itself, but I do know it takes the reading of "ai" in 哀歌, aika, which is an elegy or sad song.

I also wish they had some alternate universe Gundam songs in there. 08th MS Team had some good songs too.

I wonder whether "The Winner" will be a new translation, or whether they're using that "Back to Paradise" nonsense.

The best of the English versions of the Gundam 0083 songs is "Starbright", the English version of "Evergreen", where Mio sang with much less of an accent than she did in "Oblivion", the English version of "Men of Destiny".

I don't know what to think. I can't imagine anyone but Gackt singing Metamorphoze...Whatever...Its for Japan release not American release so I don't have to deal with it unless I want to.
