Looks like they're aiming solely at the much coveted 6-11 demographic. My bet is anything they produce will be for CN's Meguzi or Toonami...

Some of the art of the PPG anime has been online for over a year now, if you do a search for it I'm sure you could turn it up pretty easily

Oh yeah, it looks rather ridiculous and over the top in my opinion. It is truly "adapted". All the PPG seem to have weapons, if memory serves.

Either way, it should be intresting.

Uh..When it was talking about the adapting of PowerPuff Girls in Japan, it meant the original series. They produced the Japanese dub for the series. They are not involved with the Japanese anime.

"Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z" is not part of this initiative. It's an anime that is being co-produced by Toei and Cartoon Network.

(FYI: It will premiere on TV Tokyo on July 1st replacing "Sugar Sugar Rune" in it's timeslot)
