That's kind of what I was thinking. It looks like a fairly classic Autobot lineup, but a mixed bag of Decepticons (some of whom I don't remember, which is saying something). |

Decepticons. Because planes are cooler than cars. But seriously, the lack of Soundwave is saddening. Luckily, we've got Starscream around, so he and Megatron can have little verbal slapfights that amuse us all, not to mention the inevitble bit at the start of the third act where he attempts a coup and gets banished for his trouble. Then at the end after Prime blows up Megatron, we can look foward to a post-credits bit where Starscream shows up again and takes over the Decepticons, thus setting things up for the sequel. Aside from Megatron and Starscream, that's a pretty lackluster list of Decepticons. The Autobots are good choices, but just five?

That's a pretty small line-up. I hope a few more will be announced, like Soundwave and Hound.
But I gotta say, Scorponok ftw.

For all you people dissapointed about Soundwave something is odd. Frenzy is one of the cassette tapes that ejected from Soundwave. Thats very odd.
Hmmm... maybe there keeping him secret? I sure hope so, him, Megatron and Starscream have always been the top decepticons. |

The names "Blackout" and "Barricade" have been used for some very minor characters in TF history; I have no idea why they were chosen.

I don't think this is the complete line up because I saw pics from the set and there were several of the decepticon police car (I think his name was like sideswipe or something).

Sideswipe was an autobot, IIRC...
And also, wasn't Frenzy an off-color Rumble who popped out of Soundwave? How can they have Frenzy with no Soundwave?!? Also, wasn't Scorpinok from Beastwars? Where does he fit in? Don't get me wrong, I'm still gonna see it, but if I see any X-men-esque "What, you were expecting yellow spandex" quotes, I'm leaving. |

Nope Scorponok was from the original transformers series (the series where Rodomis Prime is the leader of the Autobots)
