When I clicked on Nami Tamaki green link, it directed me to Hiroki Ugawa, creator of Asagiri no Miko. EDIT: Jon fixed it. Last edited by dormcat on Wed Aug 23, 2006 12:08 pm; edited 1 time in total |

| After reading this, my first thought was, "Kawaii! <3 But she's very different than Tamaki Nami. They have different styles of music and fashion, different images, different singing styles, etc. Their only similarites is that they are both cute female Jpop singers who performed in the US. Otherwise, very different. It's nice to hear from Kitade-chan though. She sounds very cute and nice |

| her persona is weird. she's like a less talented version of Kana. | ||||

| I can't tell if she's a ditz or if she's really smart. EDIT: After reading it through again, I change my guess. This whole castle thing sounds like something her studio put together as her persona, I think she might actually be pretty clever looking at her presentation of it all. |

| Nana Kitade is so cute~ thanks for the interview!
But she's deluding herself if she thinks that's a bear. |

Um, of course it's all an act. You can choose to be manipulated if you so desire. Anyway, about the "bear." Is that a heart on its foot? Wasn't that a sign for Care Bears? Note that I never had a Care Bears err, bear but I do remember the cartoon. |

| This bear thing is really popular in Jpop, I think. Utada Hikaru also has a bear named Kuma Chang, and her upcoming single's name translates to 'I'm a Bear' (The Japanese title is 'Boku wa Kuma'). So the fact that both Hikki and Kitade-chan have bears makes me wonder if it is trend. | ||||

| Nana's always been my favorite of all of the Gothic Lolita fashion icons, and I love her song on FMA, too.
I actually think the castle thing *might* not be an act. I'm around her age and that sounds awesome to me.... Although, then again, it seems like even every-day Japanese people sometimes put on an act so they willl act as expected, so who knows...? That being said, the castle thing doesn't really sound totally like an act--it seems like a very...'loli' thing to say. |

Yes, there's a heart on the foot - it's the logo for the brand Baby, the Stars Shine Bright. And, uh, it looks like a rabbit to me, so I don't know what she's talking about... |

(I accidentally double-posted, so I'll add more content.)
Hm, I find Kana rather... untalented, though her style is cute. |

| That's a really cute interview!
It's weird how Sony (Tofu Records) isn't bringing their most popular female acts to the states (like Mika or YUKI or someone). It's sort of misleading how they portray artists like Nana Kitade and Nami Tamaki. Nami is mildly popular (when she's doing an anime theme) but Nana Kitade isn't really that popular at all (though I do like her). |

| I loved the interview. Nana Kitade is really cute, but I can see what you guys mean about the ditz, by her answers. But I find her very interesting.
Actually it really is a bear, it's a bear with a bunny-eared hat on it. It's a bag/backpack aswell. I wanted one, but it's expensive, pretty much like every thing from baby. Like IvoryBirch said, it's from Baby, the stars shine bright. If you go to the shopping part of the site, then go to shoe, bags it should be the first thing you see. edit:Nevermind, it's out right now. I wish I had saved the pic of it with the hood off. Here's the black one though:
She had the bear before it was posted on the site too. |

| She sounds like a fun person to hang out with. I should introduce her "bear" to my killer rabbit |
