We watched the Densha Otoko movie in Japanese class last year. It was really cute... Unfortunately, I missed most of the drama, since I got to Japan too late, and only found out about it on the day when the final episode was airing.

I watched the movie at Anime Expo this summer and I liked it, but I enjoyed the goofiness of the tv drama more. To me, Yamada Takayuki isn't as convincing an otaku as Itoh Atsushi.
