Gratz, hopefully they fix it faster than they ship their merchandise.

I think the frog is cute, even tho I have no idea what Sgt. Frog is. I don't think it was "hacked", it is just a marketing ploy! Or they would have told everyone don't go to the site.

That's obviously a marketing ploy from ADV.

Stemming from what happened earlier this year, I understand why he/she would think that way. I'm also pretty skeptical that ADV has acquired the license to Sgt. Frog when I first heard this, but according to amount of information I was reading on the Anime on DVD forum, the likelihood of ADV obtaining the Sgt. Frog licensed seems pretty real. One of ADV's ADR directors, Scott McClennan, actually posted on AoD's English Track forum about the news. From my understanding, ADV has a panel at Anime USA in Vienna, VA, so maybe they'll make the official announcement there (assuming of course that ADV does indeed have the license).

Do you honestly think ADV would pull a stunt like this if they DIDN'T have the license. I think it's safe to say that it's definitely licensed by ADV without a doubt.

I've heard good things about this show, but the manga seemed a bit repetitive. It was featured (as in a figure got 30s of screentime) in Heroes, and with it's added mega-popularity in Japan, it was only a matter of time. [insert generic "I'll buy it thinpak" comment here].

Glorious news! All hail Keroro! I hope ADV actually HAS it. I have no doubt they've acquired the rights to it currently, but as a show that's likely going to need a television airing to make up for licensing costs (it couldn't have been cheap), I only hope they don't fail in that regard and end up giving up the license like with Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. I couldn't really care less about that, but losing the shot at having Keroro released here, I would be upset about.

As one of the best episodic anime I've ever seen, I hope it can get a very warm reception over here, moreso than the manga has for the past two two and a half years.

That is a bit of a fear of mine. I was really hoping Bandai would get it. Let's see what ADV actually plans first, though.

I hope an ADV release of this would have their handy ADV pop-up reference notes feature.

I wonder why they didn't. Having Bandai licensed it would save a lot of trouble, for Keroro Gunso is produced by Sunrise and full of Gundam in-jokes.

That was pretty awesome. Almost as awesome as a toasted sub. And everyone loves toasted subs, so who can say no to this?!...Well, stingy people like myself, but I love Keroro! I wonder when he comes to t.v.

But, I want those translation notes. So I'm happy that ADV has it. It's AD-Vid notes time again. Laughing

Afro Gunso. Afro Gunso. Afro. Yow!

Very Happy
