So I take it the only characters we can choose from are original creations from Tokyopop's OEL manga?

Here's a quote from the TokyoPop website:

Quote:
If you're already a manga artist, simply upload the JPG, PNG, GIF or BMP images of your own art into Creator, and create an even more original manga comic book

That means you can either make your own characters, or you simply need to find the pictures of whatever character you WANT to put into the manga. It's as simple as that. Though, if you ask me, the only way to really use this program will be to draw your own characters. Otherwise, everything will look like a collage, not a manga.

So this would be like Mugen in the manga world, so to speak?

That's, er, kinda lame. I could be wrong, but I can't see anyone over 15 picking this up, meaning that there's not much of the TP audience who'd be interested in this. I mean, the Marvel version probably has some appeal to Marvel fans, but I don't think fans of Bizenghast or Juror 13 would be ecstatic to make kiddie comics like this.

I could be wrong.

Who says it has to be kiddie comics? You could add curse words and mature situations, I'm pretty sure.
