Didn't they premere it back in summer 2006?
plus, funimation did co-licence it, and ANN announced it's premere in SUMMER 2006! if u forgot, and dont beleave me, go check. as would hunter steele say in the series every single time: never give up! that is all. --The FZ |

I'm not sure when It premiered, but I vaguely remember seeing it on Teletoon while randomly flipping through my friends cable one time. -.- Maybe teletoon will finally accept anime into society?

I'm confused i thought the show alredy premiered on kids wb in 2006 becuase it looks interesting and if i watch it jan 20th i dont want it to not be the first eps.

Best part would be randomly turning the TV on a Wed and seeing it in Japan. Saying to yourself I could so see this getting licensed, and it is on Teletoon

I'm not sure it was Summer of 2006 or not but it DID premeire/debut last year on Kids' WB. According to tv.com's Spider Riders Website it premierd March of 2006. EDIT: According to ANN's Spider Riders page, this show premiered 2006-06-17 (USA - Kids WB). That's even MORE proof that Spiders Riders isn't "debuting" the 20th of this month on Kids WB. |

As I re-call it was already broadcast on this other channel.
umm... It’s the ones that have just recently been bankrupted. (can‘t remember their names though -_-) I had also seen it a few times and was sad when they took it off air.

Um, Teletoon didn't just run a "sneak peek", they've been airing the show for months. They also produced it.

I liked the series, I just thought they had the season finale & were taking a break to get the new season started, but then I saw this & was shocked. I thought it was doin' good. So I wonder why they took it off, & are now re-airing it.

I'm guessing they're calling it a premier because it was previously shown on the WB, now it's being shown on the CW. Why are they still calling it Kids' WB anyway and not Kids' CW?

But I thought Kids WB was gonna drop all Anime for good to Concentrate more on American Cartoons, did they change they're minds or something? |

Spider Riders has been airing in Ontario on Teletoon for many months. It's not a sneak peek, it's been around for quite a while.
Did ANN miss this part? Or did Teletoon give out the wrong information? For us Canadians, there's Teletoon West, there's Teletoon, and there's Teletoon East. Just like only the furthest east get Teletoon East (and who knows if Spider Riders has been airing there or not) we can't get Razer unless we subscribe to digital channels. But Spider Riders isn't a big thing. It hasn't been all that great. |

I thought Kids WB took a break from showing anime. But if they'll show it again, they'll also have to show Pokemon's new season.

Ya I also clearly remember watching all the episodes WB showed, and remembering the theme song, and listening to it over and over, and singing it on other forums so they could remember it. I wondered where it went for some time but gave up after a while.
