Hmm that's strange the Funimation insert for Basilisk Volume 4 (LE) had this pegged as a march releases with two different versions. One being the uncut version at a MSRP at $39.99 and the spikeTV edtion at $19.99, I wonder what gives for the delay?

According to this article, it appears that the premiere of Afro samurai was pretty good. However I was unable to find any other rating for any other episodes.

Uncut? Anyone know what will be different in the uncut release? I figure it's probably too early, but I'd still like to ask.

Though, I don't think I like this series ANYWHERE NEAR enough to have it on DVD, even at only five episodes.

Possibly the language, and more time added to the actual episodes. I doubt they made 20 minute episodes. Probably 30 + mins and then cut it down to fit the time allotted

0.7 ratings average for its total broadcast, boosted somewhat last week by following the UFC.
