This sounds like great news. Cool Which means we'll have a release here. Of course I'll have to recommend this to my job since we possess the books in our collection. And already students have passed word to us about the feature. More than likely students will catch word through their departments [or word of mouth] and visit the 'MoMa'. I'm already in the NY area. Wink

Well, now that's a go what are they going to do about 'Mindgames' and 'Genius Party'? Considering when 'Mindgames' came out and how many people saw it [fansubbed and convention screenings] it should have been released a long time ago. Cool

Forget the theatrical release. They should do more Oscar pushes for these anime productions.

NICE!
Shocked

I'm telling all my pals about this. We'll be there for the LA screening.
Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I definitely agree with that these movies need the push for the Academy Awards. Paprika, Renaissance and A Scanner Darkly should have been nominated. But the academy seriously needs to get over their kiddie cartoon mindframe first.

If you're goin' to the L.A. fest, I highly recommend Hardboiled and Justin Lin's Bruciesploitation documentary, "Finishing the Game."
