Is ABC2 a channel you get for free when you have digital tv or something? 'cause i haven't really heard of it, and nor can i find it on my telly.

Im glad to see a good series like Egro proxy to be aired in Australian tv. Not many series have been aired. Besides the anime on Toasted/Cheez Tv, I can only remember Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion, Samurai Champloo, Ghost in the shell: SAC being aired on on SBS.

Yep DaZ616 all you need to do is get your hands on a digital set top box. You can pick up a basic one from any electrical goods store for about $40-$50.

Nice to see ABC2 is getting on the anime bandwagon and hopefully they stay on and keep bringing us new series. Not having pay tv or a big dvd budget limits my watching a bit and series on SBS are pretty sporadic when they are shown so this is a bit of a dream come true.

I'm not sure if Ergo Proxy is any good (although I've heard nothing but praise around here for it), but either way it's great that a free-to-air station has finally put on a show that is sort of new; Ergo Proxy DVDs are still being released.

I want to support the stations when they show anime, but I just can't justify watching something like Cowboy Bebop when it's already aired on other stations and I have the DVDs.

Lets hope for good ratings, and more new shows.

"It will begin at 9:00 PM on Tuesday the 3rd of July"

So it's a bit of a better time slot than 11:30. Smile There's also going to be repeats (very) late on Thursday nights.
