So is it showing on Friday or Saturday?
I also noticed that there were quite a few August 4ths in the listing. I hope that doesn't mean that you won't be around next week. I would miss you witty humor. |

Thanks Brian! I feel lost without my weekly supply of "The Click" ...
Regarding ImaginAsian TV... I had it for a while and didn't even know my cable provider had it. Now that I know, I am constantly checking for what new shows they have on that I havn't seen yet. It doesn't hurt to call your cable provider and ask them for a channel you don't have. I'm sure, with enough calls, they might consider adding it to their programming. I wish I had the Funimation Channel myself (though I don't know what shows they cover...).
Later! |

I've called them and wrote them letters but no go. The best I got was The Anime Network On Demand which has a couple shows you can watch, but not the channel itself. It's also the only cable provider in my area so I can't switch to a different company. |

hmmm. After doing a little searching, I found out that ImaginAsianTV actually is available in my area. But I'm apparently not paying sufficient enough of money for the plan that ImaginAsian falls under. I've the cheapest of plans. Not even stuff like Cartoon Network, ESPN, VH1 are included in it yet I still get things like on demand. I almost wish ImaginAsian had their own on demand offerings. |

| The Ergo Proxy episode title isnt an attempt at "leet speak" it's a reference to Gernsbacks novel "Ralph 124C41+" . |

| Well, if the Highlander franchise is that bad, how come it has so many dedicated fans? |

There are many fans of the first movie and the television show, perhaps, but _general_ opinion is that the three sequels were terrible, especially Highlander 2, which most thought was horrifyingly bad thanks to the producers thinking they knew more than the director and writer, and the "ACTING", oh god, the "ACTING".
The first Highlander I personally found to be a decent film, and worth seeing at least once. My opinion on the rest matches the general public's opinion.
And every franchise has dedicated fans. Some just have a higher number of dedicated fans than others. Highlander fans could be considered VERY dedicated, to put up with the history-erasure button being pressed every time a new movie is made (2 ignoring much of 1, 3 ignoring 2, 4 ignoring 2 and 3).

Oooh, I'm actually watching Highlander right now; awesome as always.
That said, again, I'll really have to disagree with anyone who says that this movie, if they thought it was bad, was the US side's fault...
Seriously... Madhouse and Kawajiri have made movies/works like this before.
And Kawajiri had a lot of control anyway (with the exception of the whole "theatrical cut" thing).
(also, I just saw a trailer for Jet Li's new movie... I thought he was gonna stop being in martial arts films?) |
