What novel? I never heard of any Death Note novels. |
The novel is "Death Note : Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Case" by Ishin Nishio which was published at August 2006. It will be translated into English along wih Death Note's How to Read 13. The story takes place 2 years before the story of Death Note manga and about one of the most serious cases of L.
The rumour has it that this movie will be based on this novel however it was not confirmed. There's also another rumour that says it will be about L's past and the movie will include characters such as Near and Mello. But then again, none of these were confirmed.
I'm really happy that we finally have a release date for L. But since i'm not in Japan i won't be able to see it that day T.T |

| Wow, finally something Death Note-related to be excited about. L and Naomi were two of my favourite characters in the series so it would be great to see new stuff with them in it. |
