umm... wow. what in the hell? i guess this could work if they get child actors, but i'm not sure i see that happening. Confused

I'll second that. In addition, can they find twins or a single actress capable of playing two separate roles for Mion/Shion?

Judging from the trailer, this movie look like it'll suck. The quality poor, acting seems poor, etc.

Again i'm not surprise this is made, since Japan seems to like these loli guro films.

Trailer?

I dunno, after seeing TMA's ...um...thing, I can't see being too disappointed in anything else released as Higurashi live action. ^^ At least the actors are close in age to the characters they portray.

I think they should get Beat Takeshi to portray Mr. Delicious!

Right on there. Just look at Battle Royale, but they can get kids to be in some bad movies as well.

At first I was stunned....then I read "movies" instead of series. And then I saw the actors photographs....omg, they could've been a LITTLE less...common. Oh well, looking forward to pics of Mion/Shion.

uh.. the TMA trailer Here really didn't look at good at all. Crying or Very sad

The part that showed the hatchet thing - It looked a wood!

I don't know, about this idea....just don't see how it could be any good since spoiler[Higurashi has such an odd format where the characters constantly die and are suddenly resurrected again for a new scenario later] They'd have to do only one of the chapters and it would kind of diminish the impact without the others.
