Wow, I miss Minnesota so much. As an MCAD alumni, I heartily recommend this workshop to anyone in the area; I attended for 4 years in a row and it was always a fun and educational experience. Marc Hairston's lectures alone are worth the time and money.

Eh, it's probably just a pretentious art school translation for fashion design. When I was at MCAD I once attended a class called "Analyzing Contemporary Hollywood Genres," which mostly consisted of watching movies every week. Awesome class, but way less esoteric than the lofty name implies. |

Sadly this will be the first time in the past 4 years that I will not be able to attend. This is an excellent workshop! I really recommend anyone who can to attend. I agree, Marc by himself is worth the price of admission, and Crispin Freeman's talks last year were wonderful.
