I wonder if this means they got Mushishi and Tachiguishi. Anyway, the reasons their movies do badly in theaters is because they're awful at advertising and screening them.

Sounds more promising than what television and film have done with video games.

I would prefer live-action made from Video-games to those made from manga. Acting in an anime is totally different from acting in live-action. The level of the conveyance of emotions will be totally different. I would say that to be able to make a live-action adaptation of an anime is feasible, but far from being perfect.
