| Oh, that's a shame. I love Cowboy Bebop & am saddened to hear that someone who worked on it passed away. And he was the same age as me! That's a bit scary... |

| I'm deeply saddened at his passing, as a fan of FMA, and Bones in general. My condolences to the company and his family. |

Only 44? The guy was younger than Yoshifumi Kondo, for crying out loud. |

| Sadly cancer is an equal opportunity killer for all ages. Anime has lost a great talent and is that much the more poorer for it. May his spirit rest in peace. |

I'm deeply saddened this is a huge loss to the industry. Studio Bones has been one of the most consistent producers of Top Quality Anime.
RahXephon, Wolf's Rain, Scrapped Princess, Fullmetal Alchemist, Kurau Phantom Memory, Eureka Seven, Ouran High School Host Club, Jyu Oh Sei, Ayakashi and currently Darker then Black have all been great successes and have been all highly critically acclaimed. So Mr. Osaka, from an anime fan who has enjoyed all the aforementioned series, I hope you rest in the big anime place in the sky. |

| Damn, first Geneon USA, now Ousaka. Sad, as I've been a great fan of his works since his Sunrise days. We're losing much quality in anime these day and he was one of the few creative creators left from my person anime golden age. He'll be missed. |

Those with great talent always seem to die young.
It's a tremendous shame and my deepest sympathy for his friends, famliy and co-workers.
Farewell Ôsaka-san, you will be missed. |

| It's unfortunate for the industry to lose such a talent. I was unaware just how much he touched my fandom for anime over the years until now, which is also unfortunate. |

Waaah! I will miss his talents!
It really is so sad that so many artists pass away at such a young age - and so many with cancer lately too (Im pretty active in the 3D community - been a lot of people there too passing away from cancer). |

| He was a great animator and helped pave the way for future animators. He was an example of how it should be done. Will be missed. RIP. |
