I guess this is the closest to a KISS anime as we will ever get. 
I wonder if Gene Simmons will lend his voice for the dub? |

| this is like the best news i've heard this week. Detroit Metal City is like a more hilarious version of Beck. if they do this right, it will be a really good anime. |

| Brootal..but only if they actually metal this soundtrack up. No Visual Kei crap, we're talkin Howling Bull and Ritual Records regulars! Maybe Pizza of Death too though that's more a hardcore label. |

Well this is the best news of the day....of the month even !
DMC is one of my favorite manga .
like v1cious said , it's the Comedic version of beck .
I was hoping for an anime so they could re-do the character design of the manga which is horrible the same way the Beck manga character design is( compared to it's anime ) . |

Yeah, there needs to be a battle of the bands between these guys and Metapocalypse's Deathklok.
I saw this on display in a bookstore while on vacation in Japan. It was.. interesting to see. |

He said King's face paint resembled his. Apparently he's suing some movie for the same reason. Gene Simmons is one litigious MoFo. |
