Wow, "surpass Star Wars in its scale."!
Love or hate Star Wars, saying something like that is somewhat foolish for someone who is about to make an anime. Nevertheless it is exciting to see the R.O.D. team back together, which I loved by the way.

Also on the encyclocpedia entry for A-1 Pictures Inc. You have written under the about heading "An 100% subsidiary of Aniplex". Even though 100% (one hundred percent) starts with the letter vowel O, the word is pronounced with the starting letter W (won hundred). So it should be written like this "A 100% subsidiary of Aniplex".

The Guide to Grammar and Writing wrote:
We use a before singular count-nouns that begin with consonants (a cow, a barn, a sheep); we use an before singular count-nouns that begin with vowels or vowel-like sounds (an apple, an urban blight, an open door). Words that begin with an h sound often require an a (as in a horse, a history book, a hotel), but if an h-word begins with an actual vowel sound, use an an (as in an hour, an honor). We would say a useful device and a union matter because the u of those words actually sounds like yoo (as opposed, say, to the u of an ugly incident). The same is true of a European and a Euro (because of that consonantal "Yoo" sound). We would say a once-in-a-lifetime experience or a one-time hero because the words once and one begin with a w sound (as if they were spelled wuntz and won).

Quite a bold thing to say, no? They are getting quite ambitious with this latest project, that's for true.

Still, I would love to see this. I love Read or Die (I have yet to see R.O.D the TV) and Kamichu!, so I am confident that I'll like this film. Especially if it is supposedly going to be bigger in scale than Star Wars (for what should be obvious reasons).

Didn't studio A1 Pictures announce Ookiku Furikabutte as high quality animation? That one turned out to be nothing special so I think they just want to get attention by saying things like they would surpass Star Wars.
I haven't seen Star Wars but what aspect of that franchise do they want to surpass? Popularity? Good luck xD

Pfft, Gurren-Lagann says hello.

But definitely, the R.O.D./Kamichu team has never let me down yet, and I do like space stories.
