You may be misunderstanding. This is a stand-alone story with no planned follow-up (at least as far as I've heard).
As for the ending, it isn't exactly a sad ending; melancholy might have been a better word. I can't say anything more about it without getting into spoilers, though. |

| Having been put off alternative time lines, or universes that are written by other people apart from the original author because I find them pointless and equating to nothing but another fan fic, but with the only difference of they get the nod of the original author because of some relationship to, or with him/her. Tenchi Muyo did this to me. This OMG novel reads like just another of the same. I'm sure this is a beautiful story, but I'm also sure there are a few other fanfics out there that are also just as beautiful, but unfortunately Fujishima kun never got to read them. |
