| When is Adult Swim going to retire FLCL? Give it a rest, you played it to death! The first time you played it was bad enough. It's only six eps, people! | ||||||

| I believe Naruto in Canada will be at episode 120 on February 1. YTV has been playing new episodes all month long | ||||||

| Glad you're back, Brian.
Not to pick nits, but you do realize "Brick House" was a Commodores/Lionel Richie song, right? |

| Say, Brian, AZNTV isn't dead yet. However, your column before this one listed only 3 shows on it, so I guess less than 10 people watch it now. Or those 3 were the only anime they had & those are finished.
Here's a link on ToonZone.net that links to the actual story on Broadcasting & Cable: http://news.toonzone.net/ |

Yes we do, but our writer's guild isn't attached to yours. On the other hand, it doesn't allow Canadian writers to work in America until the end of the strike. Whoo. |

Co-sign! Brian, I must admit that after I read this blog post where you talked about having writers' block, I was wondering if you'd ever do "The Click" again. But you have, and I'm so glad because your writing is always funny and reading a new "Click" is always a highlight of my weekend whenever one appears. Keep up the great work! |

Actually DBZ had surprisingly few filler episodes considering its long run. There were only 2 real filler arcs (Garlic Jr & Other World Tournament) at about a dozen eps each, & a few other eps scattered around a bit. The reason for this of course being that the anime stretched all the fight scenes out like crazy. They were able to stretch out each manga chapter into an entire episode. & considering that the DragonBall manga had shorter chapters than today's modern shonen series, that's quite a feat. But anyway, in terms of Naruto filler I really don't think its American target audience will realize/care about the difference. For all the kids out there, new Naruto is just new Naruto. It wont be like Japan where kids realize they're getting served original anime garbage instead of the actual story. Not unless they read Shonen Jump, anyway. |

High schoolers? Huh? Light and L aren't in high school . . . Am I missing something?
Yep, this sucks. I'm one of the 10 people that got it and I really appreciated the anime they showed. Any time an anime network shuts down it's a sad, sad day. *moment of silence for AZN* RIP AZN. |

Ratings for the neverending filler were, on average, pretty close to what canon episodes of the series get. |

| I doubt Naruto's fillers will make much of a difference. Hell even I watched the first 20 or so and children have more patience then me. | ||||||

| I just want to make a correction. The actual title for One Piece episode for tonight is: "10% Survival Rate! Satori, the Mantora Master!". For some reason, several schedules have had "Sarori" written...
Just for proof, here's from the next episode preview from last week: |

| Nice focus on 'Robotech,' but again Canadian TV gets overlooked: 'Armitage III: Dual Matrix' aired on Teletoon on both Jan. 25 and 26 ... and it was a national premiere, as far as I can tell. | ||||||

| Yeah, but since Teletoon extensively advertises the following week's movie every Friday, anyone who caught Akira or Appleseed would've been aware of Armitage airing. | ||||||
