That is actually a great deal of information, believe it or not. I'm not being sarcastic.
Now we know that they aren't going to make it more "realistic" in terms of changing appearances. Meaning, they aren't going start making changes to the visual appearances of the characters (to an extent) that would oppose the fans. |

We know, he wasn't, but there were a lot of rumors going around that Piccolo was going to look more like a human than an alien. This seems to have put that to rest hopefully. That's also pretty interesting how they intend to develop the character. Previous information seemed to imply that he was the absolute main villain of the movie, but now it sounds like he's going to be more like the anti-hero from early DBZ than the all-evil being of DB. Maybe they're setting up a cliffhanger ending with the arrival of the Saiyans? If anything has put my mind at ease for this movie it's these comments from Marsters. Emerje |

I'm not a fan so I wouldn't know. I may only watch this movie for some laughs at the special effects and crazy hair.

Well I hate to burst your bubble, but the hair won't be spiked or permed out as it is in the show. DBZ is fun, and it's too bad lots of people don't take it serious. Just shows that different strokes for different folks. It's nice to hear that Piccolo will retain his original form. I, too, was mislead into the rumor that he was going to be human. Congrats on Randall Duk Kim's role! I've always liked him. |

That's weird. I read elsewhere that the film was set for an August 18th release, not the 15th.
Not that I'm complaining. I'll be there opening day either way. |

A friend of a friend of mine is working on this film. He showed my friend the script for this film, but only the first page; which is a contract that reads "Anyone who shows this script beyond this page will be fired, fined $250,000 and/or serve a maximum of 5 years in prison."
This could mean it's amazingly good or super bad. |

Even though I'm the positive one on this here, I have to admit hearing about some of what they're planning to do lately hasn't given me much hope. But after this interview with Marsters, I have to say my hopes are at least somewhat back up. It seems to me like he likes DB a whole lot based off of what he says, so I'm sure he knows what this movie is supposed to be like as well. And it sounds to me like he's got nothing but positives about it, so I'm starting to think this could end up being a lot better than we've been thinking it will.
