Who would ever thought that they would take the poor man's pleasures of popping "bubble wrap" to money making heights?
Actually they ran this story in one of the 'NTUSA' issues, I think 2007. They only spoke of the toy. Didn't know 'Bandai' would want to capitalize on more "moe" colors.
I wouldn't mind having one of those. But I think the idea of doing it once and it's over is good enough. |

I could see a hentai moe version of this turning out very badly, and very hilarious. For the sake of decency I won't go into why.
Also, is it a good idea to encourage and reward OCD behavior with cute voices saying, "good job" and "don't stop" and the like? |

| I think this would drive me crazy, actually. Half the appeal in popping bubble wrap, for me, is to actually *pop* it. If I couldn't see the button actually burst open, I'd probably develop a strange neurosis from it, and eventually stab it open. |

This reminds me of the episode of the UK sci-fi comedy series Red Dwarf in which the character Lister reveals that a school friend of his became incredibly rich after patenting the idea of taking a piece of bubble wrap, painting it orange and calling it a "Stress Sheet".
Yes, I'll have a set too, please... |

| Wow .... just wow. Another zany concoction. Yet ... that's why we all love the Japanese, now isn't it? I don't know if I'd actually want to own one, but just trying one of these out would be pretty cool. |

I'll take one that doesn't talk please?
I don't know if I'll actually get any satisfaction out of popping virtual bubbles...but I at least want to try it out. |
