Looks promising from what I'm seeing. Though I'm not really all that into studio I.G's production work. As it's often too dark even when they're not trying to be. But for 'Batman' it works. But might be even too dark even for him. But I do plan on checking this out once it's released.
Already the anime haters are spewing their venom. Ah...who gives a <blank>. |

The current footage of the anime version looks very appealing... I'm not too sure of Bruce Wayne looking totally bishie though.

Yes, I'm reallying not liking all the hate this is getting from YouTube users. Meh .... I don't care. It's their problem, not mine. They'll be missing what looks to be a very promising project. |

Yeah, chances are they'll still watch it just so they can b***h some more about it. They forget that this is a "project" <puts>. But I guess folks just don't want 'Batman' being f***ed with. Now if they would only republish Kia Asamiya adaptations that would be cool. Does anyone know if this is going to be a full run series or just shorts done by different artists like an anthology? |

Yeah, I'm sure Batman purists will be up in arms just because Batman is getting the Japanese treatment in terms of animation. They forget that Americans are actually writing these shorts. Plus, this isn't even the first time that the Japanese have gotten involved; given what was stated the article. It is going to be an anthology, a la The Animatrix. I believe the stories will all be connected though. |

Ah ok. It's been awhile since we've had anime anthologies (ie.. 'Robot Carnival', 'Memories', 'Neo Tokyo', 'Animatrix', etc...). I think this will be a good thing. This time it's 'Batman'. There are so many stories to choose from. I think from what I saw in the vid it made me wonder that's why I asked. Perfect.

Damn this looks amazing. We got to see more designs, more story, more characters. I can't wait.
So we got Deadshot, Croc, and Scarecrow. Was that Man-Bat? Not sure I like Scarecrow's design, but it will still be neat. Plus.. Deadshot?! Awesome. Oh and Gotham itself looks amazing. As for anime studios, Studio 4*c? Nice. Yup, sure looks like some of the dame designers who did Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust on one. Plus we have Denny O'Neil adding commentary in this trailer along side Timm and others. Though we got DiDio butting in.. meh. Not who I wanted to see first. I can't wait. |

DCAU Bats? to be fair, that was EVERYONE. (One of the few complaints about new DCAU everyone had the same body.) I liked old BAT:TAS Bruce to Batman\Superman Bruce. Bit more believable. Then you get The Batman's Batman... Eh. In all honesty, Looking forward to the Batmanime. I would prefer Green Lantern though (Or an Epic cross company crossover with Gurren Lagann. My god, the manly would exceed that of the new Rambo film...) Or, more importantly, Booster Gold. |

I will damn sure hit that video up. It looked awesome. I've got to wonder though, since batman is a continuing figure in all of the segments will he have the same voice actor?
If so can they go get Michael Keaton? Please? Or Kevin Conroy. |

Or, a mix of ALL Batman actors, baring Adam West and or Will Freidle. Could get Michael Keaton for one segment, George Clooney for another, Val Kilmer for the next, then Bale, then Kevin Conroy, then get Jason David Frank for a segment. As in that one where it looks like he's wearing the Dragon shield. |
