Hard to tell much about a movie based on such a short clip, but this one looks very, very sharp. Hopefully it'll make its way to the States before the end of the year. (And being a Mamoru Oshii film makes it seem likely.)

Even so, I'm more interested in this film than any of its competitors. That is to say, I'm less disinterested in it than the likes of Miyazaki's work or another Pokemon flick.

Aerial war movie with romance, I sense that this will become widely established as a genre.

I'm looking forward to this, it'll will be a feast for the eyes if nothing else, not that Oshii has ever let me down.

This really looks like it's going to be a great movie. At least, the animation and music grabbed me. I really would like to see what Oshii has done since this is supposed to be very different from his past works.

Yikes, look at its competition. Just in anime, you have the still fairly popular Pokemon franchise and a Miyazaki movie to contend with?

Anyway, a new Oshii movie is definitely something to look forward to. Let's just hope he can resist the urge to make it too heavy-handed like some of his past efforts (though, I will admit, I do like his more mature approach to the Patlabor movies than he took in the OVA).

I hope the WB connection means this will be coming out after Appleseed EX Machina.

I can already tell I'll like it more and it won't be anywhere as excessive as Innocence.

On the flip side, the trailer didn't reveal much expect that IG is working with a sizable budget. Duh.

Personally feel more optimistic about The Sky Crawlers than Miyazaki's upcoming project, though.

A WB movie. At least it'll be released in DVD and Blu-ray only now. I love the website, especially allowing regions other than R2 to see the trailers.

Wonder when the R1 release will be?

Very impressive, especially in the visuals. Certainly looks like an Oshii work, but, as others have stated, not as heavy-handed or pretentious as Innocence. I can tell just from this that it's not his script. I'm looking forward to it.

Since Oshii had a hand in one of my favorites, Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, I'll look forward to this one.

The mouths look like they move with the words. Impressive.
