I am a fan of the series as a whole, and am in a disappointed to hear about how characters vital in the manga were taken out of the movie and just have newer characters added. What thoughts went into production I do not know, but seeing what the review said, I will probably hold off buying it.

I got burned by the horribleness that is the live action Hana Kimi, combined with the fact that I LOVED the Lovely Complex anime, so I think I'll pass....
