I'd like it if they'd translate more of the credits because they're not lisiting all the VA's (We got Kappei Yamaguchi in an ep on this one). This is also where we get Hikaru Midorikawa. Yeah!
There are only about 2 dozen cast members to keep track of. Trying to cut it down to none?
But the mech battles are where this title shines. THe effects during the battles are pretty awesome, but we also don't lose as much on the characters in lesser moments (the mis-proportioned body parts during twisting moves) We don't get the sketchy character drawings on long shots. There is a decent eye to detail.
I just finished dvd 4, They allow Midorikawa's character (Masaki) a pretty decent intro (2 eps to establish the character) even with all the stuff going on with Okiayu's character's (Rai) family |
