So Dark Horse translated this, hmm? After Trigun and Trigun Maximum I'm not so sure what to think of this, but the reviewer sure seems to have a positive opinion...

Did they gut the moron who defied Nightow's specific instructions that Trigun takes place in an English speaking world and let the Kurosagis deliver him to the Marianas Trench? Because I sure hope they did.

I'm glad you guys reviewed this. I checked out the first volume from the library and really enjoyed it as a dark comedy. Plus I've heard that Dark Horse has been disappointed with the sales of KCDS, so it's good to see this series get some more press. I'm definitely going to try and pick up this manga for my bookshelf.

Hey everyone, kinda new here to the site so hello.... N E way most may or may not have noticed this but they made a clear reference to it in book 6. That is that Detective Sasayama in KCDS is the same as in DH's MPD-Psycho of some may have figured this Eiji Otsuka co-op'd both titles but for those who didn't know u may want to look into MPD-Psycho^^ /wave

First of all, I'm glad to see this manga getting bumped by ANN. It's sorely underrated. Although I disagree with the reviewer's C rating (I loved the Taisho-era omake), it might just be because I can no longer view this manga objectively.

My main point: This is one of the most phenomenal manga releases in the US market. It's also probably one of THE most underrated titles out there. I NEVER see it in stores, so that probably contributes. Evil or Very Mad

I am a picky, purist bastard when it comes to domestic manga releases, and I've been bitching about Viz and to a lesser degree, Tokyo Pop for years.

But Dark Horse has done an AMAZING job with "Kurosagi." Never mind the fact that Kurosagi is amazing on its own -- it manages to be creepy , intriguing, mysterious, funny, and a little horrifying but somehow clinical in its unflinching look at dessicated corpses and whatnot, making it less gross than it could be.

READ IT.
