Bamboo Blade and Higurashi? Hell yes.
Yen Press is making out quite well at the NYCC and they are quickly becoming one of my favorite publishers. |

Another anthology mag? Anyone remember Raijin? It took years for someone to pick back up Mamotte Shugogetten after that one fell apart.
Does Yen Press have the strength to sell as well as Shonen Jump USA? I'd be thrilled if this meant I could just go out and buy Soul Eater, but having to wait for the mag...
That said, yay! Soul Eater in English! |

So this'll be "Square Enix Jump" huh? or correctly..
"GanGan Jump" ?
Well too bad they don't have FMA, or this'll sell like Hotcakes!
This will have to be word-of-mouth to get popular, though at least Viz won't dominate the Manga Mag game!
w00t!
Soul Eater! |

Now if only someone would save the anime. . . .
I've heard good things about Bamboo Blade and I'm certainly interested to see what the Higurashi manga is like. Sadly, unless they think the anthology mag is just an advertisting thing, they're probably going to be really disappointed with the sales. |

**does Happy Dance**
Seems Tokyopop & Viz are going to be getting some heavy competition from Yen Press. First Haruhi, now Soul Eater. Can it get any better? |

| Yen Press has Nabari no Ō, Soul Eater and the When They Cry manga, while Del Rey has Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei?! Are you kidding me? Is it Christmas already? |

Cheers for Yen Press! They are quickly becoming one of my favorite publishers. First, they start with Zombie Loan, and now the announcement of Haruhi... And now this slew of new annoucements! They all sound like good titles, espcially Soul Eater. I've never bought any manga magazines because there's usually only one or two titles that interest me, but all of these titles look good to me.
Looking foward to the magazine! And thumbs up to Yen Press! =D |

| I was already planning to subscribe solely on the strength of Svetlana Chmakova, but this makes it even MORE worth the money! I've been interested in Soul Eater since I read about it in the ANN previews. |

BITCHING.
I've wanted to read Soul Eater, so this is exciting for me. Also, I've recently cancelled my SJ subscription, so it'll be nice to have another manga mag. |

| This is great! I've been wondering if a new manga anthology would be showing up here in the states to try and rival Shonen Jump USA, and for it to be running Soul Eater is especially awesome. Hopefully the graphic novel releases will be timely and in good quality. |

Wow, go Yen Press! So far I have to say I'm quite impressed.
Some of the other series they got sounds pretty good (I've heard nothing but good things about some of them) but I'm mostly excited to be able to get into the Soul Eater and Nabari no Ou manga versions now since !'m quite enjoying both anime series right now. |
