That sounds like a scary combination. Let me see what this trailer is like...

Well, from the bits I managed to stream, it looks like it could be pretty interesting. I'll definitely at least try watching an episode or two of this when it airs.

I knew I kept IE installed for a reason. Anyway, based on the pedigree, I will watch a bit of this show. But based on the trailer, it looks about as uninteresting as they come. That's too bad.

I agree with you. When I looked at that picture, I thought of a big carrot and a typical shonen female. Bones, you made two excellent series, what in sam hill happened?

And this is based on 30 seconds of awesome animation? Yea guys, looks like utter crap, especially with all the information they've revealed about it. Rolling Eyes

I saw this a few weeks ago, but it was a ghetto shakey cam version, but even then I was impressed. Maybe it had a better effect on me because that version had no music (the song in the trailer was a bit cheesy). Either way, I'm REALLY looking forward to it.

Oh, I'll agree, the animation is excellent. No qualms there. But what does this trailer really tell us about the series? There's some sort of giant monster that people are fighting. Not much story or characterization there.

I think thats his point though. We don't really know anything about the story or the characters but nor should we after only a 30 second trailer. It doesn't mean it's story or characters will be bad. All this trailer tells us is that the animation seems to look nice. Couple that with BONES track record. What reason is there to be pessimistic?

Agreed...my interest is certainly piqued to say the least.

Any information on when this is going to be released? Would fall 2008 be a good assumption?

I remember hearing Fall 08 but I can't be 100% so take that with a grain of salt. It seems reasonable though.
