"Jumping to Conclusions" won't be an Olympic event this summer, so you guys/gals can stop practicing.
There are a myriad of trading card sets featuring celebrities/idols/models/actresses: this one is only slightly noteworthy because it features a seiyuu. Anyone who gets these cards thinking they are going to see something more risqué than Aya Hirano's existing album art and photo/video shoots is almost sure to be sorely disappointed. |

| As Konata Izumi from Lucky Star once said "It's to have them, if you are a true fan than you must have them to collect. One to lock away, one to put on display and one to hold and look at" |

Ah, wise words.
Personally, I'm quite interested in the content of these cards. I'm doubtful it'll become the next Pokemon card game craze but then again, who knows. |

Not to mention she's not even the first seiyuu to have her own trading cards. For example of the most recent generation of female seiyuu, Koshimizu Ami (Kallen of Code Geass etc) released trading cards a couple of years ago. Others from before include Iizuka Mayumi and Sakurai Tomo, just to name a couple off the top of my head. I guess this is news worthy because it's Hirano Aya?
FWIW, seiyuu DVDs (both male and female btw) aren't new either, so don't think for a second that Hirano Aya's breaking grounds and making history etc. However going to the lengths of a full on swimsuit idol-style DVD is rare, if not a first, for seiyuu. Though swimsuit photos of seiyuu itself is also a done deal - even really famous seiyuu like Inoue Kikuko, Mitsuishi Kotono and Horie Yui had swimsuit photos taken and released. |

| Damn, there must be a LOT of cards in that series then. Maybe we'll be developing a TCG later? |
