Sounds rather intriguing to say the least .

I wonder if any other Saber Marionette fans feel the same way ?

Why, this could very well be the best news since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Thoroughly stoked, I am.

The lowercase "i" in the title almost makes me think that the saber marionettes are going to be reborn in our world as Apple products or something. Anime hyper

Kidding. It's good to hear that more is going to happen with the manga. So many good old properties are continuing again in anime and manga form as of late.

Wow, almost a decade has passed since a new series of Saber Marionette. I haven't read this the manga in several years, but the story wasn't too bad.

That old magical girlfriend harem series? I didn't think they made stuff quite like that any more. Very '90's.

I liked it, but maybe that was because I was new to anime and hadn't become familar with the cliches yet.

I liked the first Saber Marionettes but after that I heard they changed all the voice actors so I held off on the rest. Is this true? Are the rest good enough to warrent buying?

While i still need to get R and J to X, i checked and the same main cast VAs are such for both shows and the OAV.

The 6 Episode Plasmatic Crisis Ova used a different English cast. I would complain, but I liked Brigette Hoffman's voicing of Cherry better than J and J to X.

Saber Marionette J is surprisingly good even today in my opinion. Plasmatic Crisis is a decent add on, it introduces the best Saber of all in my opinion, Marine.

J to X..... It was really tough to get through those 26 episodes, and I wish they had not been made. None of what made me like the first series was present, and everything from the first series that was annoying seemed accentuated in J to X.

I think I picked up both the 26 episode J and J to X sets for a little over $20 each, so they are light on the pocketbook.

Well since we are all answering questions, I've seen all of the anime, but haven't read the manga. Any good?

I enjoyed the anime, it would be neat to have some new ones. Anytime something like this happens it increases the chances of that happening.

I agree, I am just glad I wasn't the first to say it.
Out of all of the series, J to X was the weakest. And yes it sometimes even got to be a pain to get through.

Wait, I guess I disagree with you a little bit. I don't think it shouldn't have been made. I just think it should have been made better. Razz

And as far as the voice changes from J to J Again. If you watch them back to back it can be a shock. And I will leave it there.

The animation on j-x was quite good, only character design had suffered a little...

As a SMJ lover i got to say it was really good and i saw all of it countless times...

I would love to see more of it...

U guys know, there are a lot of novels never translated, hell the novels are the origin...

I watched them back to back & didn't really notice any issue.
I probably watched subtitled because of Koyasu & Midorikawa. The English cast wasn't that stand out for me to really care if they switched off.
It's worth it for me. I love Akahori's stuff.

Cool! I loved Saber Marionette! And now a new story!

Since its labeled "i", it should be a prequel I would think with all new cast members...

Hollywood is mining the 80's, while Japan is mining the 90's. Running up empty on new ideas, fellas?! Laughing
