If this ends up being true, that'll quell all of the talk about ADV's apparent demise IMO.

We already have a separate thread for this. I think the mods can either lock this one or merge it.

This press release has nothing to do with ADV. And thisdefinitely does not "quell talk about ADV's apparent demise."

I'm just posting here to avoid the crowd. I really wish they took a chance on Lupin. Crying or Very sad OTOH, they said, "Among the first titles", so there's still hope.

Well, the other thread links to a different article. We don't really like locking threads that link to articles in case someone reads this one and wants to discuss it, only to find the thread locked. They won't necessarily look for the other. As for merging, unfortunately the system isn't smart enough, if we merge this one and someone clicks this article afterwards to discuss the thread, it will just create a new thread.

Great! I was looking forward to Black Lagoon, Story of Sainukoku, And The Familiar of Zero. Some of others are going to be re-releases? Geneon finished Fate, for example. Is Funimation going to be re-releasing it?

All Funimation has to do is say that Hellsing will still have the same English cast and they can just take my money.

I was on my way to AX08 today and heard about this before I left. When I got there, this was what everyone was talking about.

Im glad we'll see these titles come out, but just in case, I'll just wait till I see the first DVD's, just in case we have a repeat of the ADV/Geneon fiasco last year.

If it works out, then we could see future Geneon titles later, I hope. Wink

I have a feeling some of those titles were dumped on FUNimation in exchange for the good stuff.
