Since the Nintendo DS is regionfree, I'm guessing that you can use your American/European DS for this feature too???

Aww man...why can't the American DS have something like this? I'd love to be able to watch anime on my brother's DS (at least until I'm able to afford my own >.>), even if it's just Pokemon.

You can watch videos on your DS with Datel's Max Media Dock.
I bought it at Wal-mart a while back. It has a program that can convert your videos to play on the ds. The video quality is decent if your source is decent. I've only used it a few times. I myself would never watch any subbed anime(or any other movie with subs) on it, since the screen is so small. But anyway the technology was still kinda interesting to play around with.
