Hah! There was a 1:1 scale model of Sgt. Keroro for sale that was about 1 meter tall (or so he thinks, it's actually 555 mm tall).

This is nothing special Smile.

555 mm is only 55.5% of one meter. Since we're dealing with three dimensions, the 1/1-scale Sgt. Keroro figure takes up only 17% (55.5% cubed) of the volume of a hypothetical 1-meter-tall Sgt. Keroro figure.

And, Sgt. Keroro is a character, not a weapon. Wink We've had character figures that were 1.7 meter tall before, but very few mass-produced non-character figures that were 1-meter tall. This EVA-01 figure will tower over the 1/1-scale Keroro figure.

Oh, it'll tower over any other figure you have, but you'll still have to deal with the fact that you spent goodness-knows how much on an EVA figure.

Too true. Bandai sold the 55.5-cm-tall Sgt. Keroro figure for 15,540 yen (about US$163). Bandai also sold the 150-cm-tall Hyper Hybrid Model Gundam figure for 258,000 yen (about US$2,700). Medicom Toy might sell this 100-cm-tall EVA-01 for somewhere in the vast gap in between.

Dos anybody know how many of the 1.5-meter-tall Gundam mobile suit models were actually sold? I would assume that $2,700 isn't a drop in the bucked for most fans. Don't get me wrong. I would love to have a 1.5-meter-tall Gundam or 1-meter-tall EVA. Or maybe both. I could stand one on each side of the front door to my house. Or would that be to much?

I think the lance of longinus would work better for that.
